RusAccreditation policy on traceability of measurement results approved

To ensure the reliability of the results of work, RusAccreditation implements the policy of the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) and uses the guidelines that contribute to the harmonization of forms of representation and approaches to the accreditation criteria.

This document is based on ILAC P10:01/2013 ILAC Policy on the Traceability of Measurement Results and P 50.1.108-2016 “ILAC policy on traceability of measurement results” and describes RusAccreditation policy on traceability of measurement results based on the requirements of ISO / IEC 17025 standard [2].

This policy can also be used for other activities related to conformity assessment, which involves testing and / or calibration laboratories (for example, product certification). For calibration, performed by a laboratory, for establishing metrological traceability for their own use and not included in the scope of accreditation, RusAccreditation policy is used set out in Section 2 of the document.

The RusAccreditation policy on traceability of measurement results was developed with the active participation of the state scientific metrological institutes, passed the discussion at the venue of the Standing Committee to ensure traceability under the Public Council of the RusAccreditation and was approved by Rosstandart enters into force on the date of approval.
