National Institute for Accreditation of RusAccreditation launches English version of the platform “Laboratory proficiency testing programs”

In order to harmonize national and international practice of assessing the proficiency of laboratories, develop international cooperation and mutual recognition of test results, National Institute for Accreditation of RusAccreditation has set up the English version of the digital platform “Proficiency testing programs”.

The following functions are now available for foreign users of the platform “Proficiency testing programs”: selection of an appropriate program, submission of an application for participation online, and formation of an application for the creation and organization of new proficiency testing programs on measurement testing indicators, research and objects that are not presented on the platform.

At present, laboratory proficiency testing providers FBU "Tomsky CSM" (record number in the register of accredited CABs RA.RU.430185) and FGBU "Center for Grain Quality Assessment" (record number in the register of accredited CABs RA.RU.430188), accredited in the national accreditation system in accordance with the provisions of the interstate standard GOST ISO / IEC 17043-2013 “Conformity assessment. General requirements for proficiency testing” invite foreign laboratories to participate in interlaboratory comparison programs.

National Institute for Accreditation of RusAccreditation supports this initiative of accredited laboratory proficiency testing providers and is ready to provide participants of international rounds of ILC with comprehensive methodological support.

Participating in interlaboratory comparison programs with foreign participants will allow national laboratories to compare and evaluate the quality of the conducted tests of various types of products / objects, measurement or research. In addition, participation in such ILC rounds can be interesting from the perspective of implementing procedures for monitoring the reliability of test results of export products, as well as for laboratories included in the Unified Register of conformity assessment bodies of the Eurasian Economic Union.
