The Coordination Center for the Implementation of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) Principles of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) is established on the basis of the RusAccreditation National Institute of Accreditation.
The Center’s main task is to develop the GLP system in Russia. Its activities aim to provide Russian laboratories with new opportunities related to non-clinical testing of export-oriented products.
The Coordination Center accumulates and analyzes information on the results of the activities of Russian GLP laboratories and provides methodological support of practical issues of implementation of the OECD GLP test methods by Russian laboratories, as well as the possibility of using domestic resources for arranging research.
The Center implements programs to maintain the qualification of GLP inspectors and the competence of GLP laboratories and assists exporters in the development of regulatory documents for products.
