On 20-22 May, 2015 within the third stage of the project "Approximation of accreditation systems of European Union and Russia" the training seminars on the international standard ISO/IEC 17025 "General Requirements to Competence of Test and Calibration Laboratories" took place at the premises of Federal Accreditation Service.
The three-day course, carried out by the experts of the European co-operation for accreditation, contained an explicit analysis of the text of the abovementioned standard, discussion of related technical issues and consideration of case studies and examples of the practice of the national accreditation bodies of the European Union countries.
In addition to training of staff of Federal Accreditation Service central office, the third stage of the project "Approximation of accreditation systems of European Union and Russia" includes also trainings to the international standard ISO/IEC 17011 "Conformity assessment .General requirements for accreditation bodies accrediting conformity assessment bodies” Compliance Assessment. General Requirements to Accreditation Authorities Accrediting Authorities for Compliance Assessment" to be held in all federal districts of the Russian Federation.
The first of such training events took place on May 15-16, 2015 in Rostov-on-Don on the basis of Territorial branch of RusAccreditation in the Southern, North Caucasian and Crimean Federal districts. Accreditation experts and the employees of state institutions subordinated to Russian Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing (Rospotrebnadzor) and Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) have become the participants of the seminar as well as employees of local territorial branch of RusAccreditation. Following the results of the training they have been provided with corresponding certificates of attendance.
