In the period from April to August 2015 within the third stage of the project "Approximation of accreditation systems of European Union and Russia" the training seminars on the key international standards of the ISO/IEC 17000 series have been carried out at the premises of Federal Accreditation Service with the participation of international experts.
In particular, about 20 employees of the Central office of the Service have passed a train the trainer program on four international standards:
Training programs, provided by the experts of the European co-operation for accreditation, contained an explicit analysis of the text of the abovementioned standard, discussion of related technical issues and consideration of case studies and examples of the practice of the national accreditation bodies of the European Union countries.
Holding the training seminars according to the international ISO/IEC 17011 standard “Conformity assessment -- General requirements for accreditation bodies accrediting conformity assessment bodies” in federal districts of the Russian Federation on the basis of territorial branches of Federal Accreditation Service became the second direction of work within the third stage of the project "Approximation of accreditation systems of European Union and Russia ". The relevant events took place in Rostov-on-Don, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Vladivostok, Kazan and Krasnoyarsk.
The workshop participants, in addition to employees of territorial branches of the Federal Accreditation Service, were the experts on accreditation, representatives of accredited entities and other interested persons. In general, approximately 260 people attended the regional seminars and corresponding certificates were issued to all of them.
