The meeting of the working group on the activities of accredited CABs performing work on conformity assessment of railway transport products was held

On February 16, the meeting of the working group on the activities of accredited CABs performing work on conformity assessment of railway transport products was held under the Public Council of the Federal Service for Accreditation. The meeting was attended by more than 20 people, including representatives of the Service, the National Institute for Accreditation of RusAccreditation, the scientific and expert community, accredited organizations, associations and industry enterprises.

Alexey Vikharev, Head of the Accreditation Office in the Field of Confirmation of Conformity of Mechanical Engineering Products, Electrical Products, Building Materials and Fire Safety, answered to the meeting participants' questions on the implementation of the provisions of the orders of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia dated October 26, 2020 No. 707 and dated October 24, 2020 No. 704.

The results of the work on testing the electronic configurator for the formation of scopes of accreditation for the conformity assessment bodies for railway transport products were reported by the Director General of the National Institute for Accreditation of RusAccreditation Denis Sukhetskiy. He urged accredited CABs to participate more actively in testing the configurator of scopes of accreditation. During the meeting, there were also discussed issues related to the functioning of the FGIS RusAccreditation.

In addition, the conversation turned to the certification of test methods in the field of railway transport, carrying out work on the conformity assessment of high-speed railway transport and other issues.

The protocol of the working group meeting on the activities of accredited CABs in the field of conformity assessment of railway trasport products under the RusAccreditation Public Council dated February 16, 2020 will be available in the section of the group in the near future.
