A session of the Public Council under RusAccreditation was held
The main topic of discussion was the results of the work of the Service in 2020.
On April 2, a session of the Public Council under RusAccreditation was held in the VTC format. The management of the RusAccreditation and the National Institute of Accreditation of RusAccreditation (NIAR), which is subordinated to it, presented a report for 2020 on the main areas of activity of the Department.
Vladimir Salamatov, Chairman of the Public Council at RusAccreditation, noted the constructive and operational interaction of RusAccreditation and the Council on all development issues of the national accreditation system (NSA).
The head of the Federal Service for Accreditation, Nazariy Skrypnik, expressed gratitude to the Public Council for up-to-date information about the needs of the market, which helps to find collectively optimal solutions to important tasks for the business community.
The head of RusAccreditation told about the changes of the National Assembly at the end of 2020. He noted the continuation of the tendency to reduce the number of accredited CABs in the market over the past few years (by 9% in 2020 compared to 2019).
Speaking about the pandemic as the main challenge of 2020, Nazariy Skrypnik noted the effective work of RusAccreditation under the leadership of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation on digitalization, the implementation of remote assessment, the development of interdepartmental interaction, the development of regulatory and reference documentation for accredited persons.
Vice-heads of RusAccreditation, heads of structural divisions of the Service, General Director of the National Institute of Accreditation of RusAccreditation told about the results of 2020 in the main fields of activity of the department: digital transformation, providing of public services, monitoring accredited persons, international cooperation, export promotion, development of NIAR.
The Public Council under the Federal Accreditation Service is a permanent advisory and consulting authority, the main purpose of which is to attract the public to improve the efficiency and quality of authority execution of the Federal Accreditation Service's in the established field of activity.
5 standing committees and 21 working groups were formed by the Public Council to solve the tasks assigned to the Public Council, to discuss the most important issues and to protect the interests of a certain category of participants of the National Assembly.
