On May 25, a session of the working group on the activity of accredited persons in the field of conformity assessment of building materials, products and structures under the Public Council of the Federal Accreditation Service was held in the format of a videoconference. The event was attended by representatives of the Service, industry associations of manufacturers in concrete and dry building mixes, cements, pipeline systems, radiators.
During the session, the issues of practical application of normative acts, which are regulating the procedure of formation and establishment of certificates registers of conformity and conformity declarations, in terms of compliance with the requirements for placing information in them, were discussed. On the basis of the obtained information from these registers, industry associations monitor products which are produced on the building materials market. The participants of the session noted the positive results of interaction with RusAccreditation – manufacturers have become more responsible for compliance with the requirements for manufactured products
Aleksey Viharev, the Head of Accreditation Department in the field of confirmation of conformity of engineering products, electrical products, building materials and fire safety, noted that the requirements for information, which is placed in registers, has been introduced since August 2021 and will allow to increase the transparency of work on conformity assessment of products and the activities of certification authorities in general.
