The Federal Government Information System of the Federal Service for Accreditation (hereinafter referred to as FGIS RusAccreditation) was launched in 2013-2014.
FGIS RusAccreditation is designed to automate the processes in the field of accreditation carried out by employees of the Central Office and territorial bodies of RusAccreditation, Accredited CABs, accreditation experts, expert organizations, and other participants of the National Accreditation System, to improve the quality of accreditation services, as well as to ensure the transparency of information in the field of accreditation.
Currently, FGIS RusAccreditation has more than 15,000 users, including employees of the Central Office and territorial bodies of RusAccreditation, Accredited CABs, accreditation experts, expert organizations, and other interested parties.
The main tasks addressed via FGIS RusAccreditation are as follows:
- management of RusAccreditation registers;
- submission of applications and rendering of public services, including ensuring the interaction between all participants of these processes (the Central Office and territorial bodies of RusAccreditation, accredited persons, accreditation experts, and expert organizations);
- monitoring of public services rendering by RusAccreditation;
- execution of the state federal control over the activities of Accredited CABs;
- submission of information by Accredited CABs on the results of activities, changes in the composition of employees and the competence of said employees, changes in technical equipment, to the Federal Service for Accreditation;
- publication of RusAccreditation register data publicly available on the official website of RusAccreditation;
- provision of RusAccreditation register data upon requests from federal executive authorities and other interested parties via the Inter-Institutional Digital Interaction Service;
- integration with services of federal executive authorities with reference to provision of data within the framework of rendering public services and RusAccreditation services via the Inter-Institutional Digital Interaction Service;
- development of statistical and analytical materials upon the results of accreditation activities;
- user support and access management for data and tools of FGIS RusAccreditation;
- provision of the required security level of FGIS RusAccreditation; et cetera.
FGIS RusAccreditation has implemented a Role model of access to data and tools of FGIS RusAccreditation, within the framework of which the following personal accounts have been developed:
- RusAccreditation Central Office Account;
- RusAccreditation Territorial Body Account;
- Certification Body Account;
- Testing Laboratory (Center) Account;
- Accredited Metrological Services Account;
- Inspection Body Account;
- Proficiency testing Provider Account;
- Accredited CAB on non-governmental expertise;
- Expert Organization Account;
- Assessor Account.
Taking into account the changes in the accreditation legislation in 2014-2016, FGIS RusAccreditation has been undergoing modernization activities from 2015 to the present day.
